  • wow!! i want one!!! i heard that aquaphor is great! i was on the plane coming home from princeton and i had my burt’s bees beeswax and this guy told me that aquaphor is even better! i said does it make your lips tingle? he said no. so i was disappointed, but is it really good? i wanna try one now! of course they don’t sell them here in london. i tell ya, london is so third-world sometimes. they don’t have any of the great stuff i’ve seen in the states! like the great 60-second neutrogena conditioner i bought in princeton? they dont’ have. i love that because it works so fast and it smells delish!

  • sounds good- I have the same issue. I have tried everything, the only thing that semi works for me is Kiehl’s, but the chapped lips do come back.

    i swear by body shop’s hemp chapstick. i love way it smells too. :)

  • oooh..i was surprised to see a post from you!! hehe.  i’m so happy to be able to write something in your comment box now!  hehe.  anyhoo..i suffer from chapped lips too.  i find that some are too waxy and some make them more chapped causing you to reapply all the time!!  do they sell this at the pharmacy??  thanks for the great reviews! 

  • i had a talk with him… nothing too serious. just asked him to please conserve energy when possible. i came home the next day only to find him eating dinner and watching tv in the dark. poor little brother..

  • another one that is awesome is Gerber’s moisturizing stick…. I accidentaly discovered it cuz my baby had eczema… it worked so well for her… the other day my lips were so dry that it’s dry and ready to crack…it’s took less than 2 days for heal completely… I ordered a whole bunch from drugstore.com … hehe aquaphor is good too..

    & ryc: you’re right.  the reason for all this havoc is for wedding DAY itself, so I know I’ll enjoy it and have so much fun. hehehe

  • I also like to use vasoline on my lips when it gets extremely chapped.

  • hi jenny! just so you know, i felt like you today. hubby asked me why i have a red spot on my bottom lip today. sigh. i pulled off dry skin yesterday and i felt like you! hahaha i meant to tell you and it brought it home when hubby asked why my lip was all red. hahah so i need my aquaphor! hahaha

  • I use this too sometime on my lips. My husband and I have been suffering from really bad dry hands becuase of the weather and most people told him to try aquaphor. It is the best! I also like to use C.O. Bigelow’s mint lip gloss from Bath and Body. It’s minty and does the job for me. I love minty things.

  • whoah…you sure tried a lot of lip balms!  i’m going to have to try that aquaphor…

  • I use Kiehl’s lip balm. It kind of has the consistency of vaseline but it’s lighter. It’s good to wear under lipstick.

    I’m glad you found something that worked for you! Chapped lips can be painful and very unattractive also ;)

  • hiiii!!! I’m so glad that you’re back!!!!~I’ll write you a proper message. Just wanted to say that I checked out that cuteoverload.com page…and yes it does have some useless but cute stuff. The first pic I saw was a picture of a squirrel with a party hat on. I had to laugh!

  • I bought a little thing of Rosebud lip balm from sephora a few months ago and I love the stuff. Its strawberry flavored and stays on very well…and it keeps my lips soft all day. And its only about $7

  • boy, i gotta get this one! my lips get so dry during winter, thanks to harsh winter wind outside and heat inside. so far, only thing that stays moist for more than an hour is mario badescu lip balm. but i’d love to try this one out! i have tried many other lip balms but they were quite disappointing.

  • kiehls lip balm w/ tint is great too~!~ i carry it around in my purse 24/7~

  • you know…i’ve been looking and looking for this chapstick at Target for a long time…finally today i realize, it’s not listed as chapstick…it’s just a healing oinoment….so of course it won’t be in the chapstick section!! im going to order from this website too….. :) thanks, jane
