Just for fun…wanted to share our invites!

This is how it all started…

    lots of invites

      complete inviteoutside box

We didn’t want the boxes to get messed up in transit so we actually shrink wrapped each invitation.  It’s really easy and fun!

Our RSVP responses were awesome~ thanks to Weddingbee & snow_blossoms!  We put them all in a book for people to look at during our cocktail hour.

  • omg your invites are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!! it’s one of the best, if not THE best ones i’ve seen yet!!  did you design them yourself or did you hire someone for it and just assembled them yourself?  Can i ask how much the invitations came out to be at the end of it all?  (and also how much did you pay for the shrink wrap stuff?)

  • ooh! and where can i find the address to write to president bush and the terminator? that’s so cool that their office send something back to u!! i want to do it for my wedding as well. hehe

  • ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! you are sosooo cute! shrink wrapping them even!! just gorgeous!! i love them! you are too cute…love bella too of course!

  • your invites are awesome…that’s a great idea to put all the responses in a book for everyone to view during cocktail hour….

  • your invitations are beautiful!!!!!!

  • those are gorgeous!

  • wow – one of the best invites i have EVER seen!  man, i SO wish i were creative, or crafty, or had the patience to do that.  great job!!

  • *gulp* I am seriously in awe… wow!

  • So pretty! I love how you included Bella in the invitation as well. :)   Now how does everyone tie such pretty bows? *lol* Mine never come out looking that symmetrical.  :(

  • wow, those are some fany invites!  how many people did you invite?  i think i can do it if i was only inviting like 5 ppl.

  • wow you had to put your invites all together. that’s a ton of work. but i’m sure it was nice to be a part of all the preperation. and the shrink rap was a great idea, espeically when i’m sure you were sending them all over the world. what a beautiful way to get RSVP’s. they are so unique and definately a keep sake. what did you ask people to do to get such lovely responses. i think they are lovely. i love the pen drawing of your lil baby doll puppy. its beautiful.

  • Your invites are amazing! I love em! Did you print everything yourself?

  • ohhhhh, i love it!!! beautiful!

  • your invites are gorgeous!!! we did rsvp postcards too, but i really regret not asking guests to write something on the back, even tho that is sorta implied with a postcard. i don’t think most people will because we didn’t specifically note it. :( jack and i thought about it after the invites were already printed, but i also didn’t think many people would send the cards back and would just rsvp online.

and did i mention how GORGEOUS your invites are?!?!?!

  • I’m speechless. they are absolutely gorgeous and the thoughtful words!

  • wow!! awesome invites!!!!

  • your invitations are WOW!  they are incredible!  you’re a total pro.  i’m working on getting my invites printed now- mine seem so simplistic compared to yours.  =)

btw- thanks for visiting my xanga (i just noticed your comments on the old entries!).  we have lots in common- i love your taste! haha. i love wedding talk too- i don’t know what i will think/talk about when the wedding is over. =)

  • wow~~~ these are amazing!!  where do i begin??  i loooove the invitations.  seriously, they are beautiful.  where did you order them from?  my best friend is getting married this year and i’m the matron-of-honor.  her theme is like your colors– green, pink and chocolate brown.

your engagment photos are sooo pretty.  i LOVE the one with both of you under the umbrella!

    awww…thanks for sharing!

  • wow nice invites but how much did it cost to mail it? ;op

  • Hey, i was just stopping by your site…love it…feel free to stop by anytime!

  • wow, did you DIY this all by yourself? very impressive and C.R.A.Z.Y.

  • i’m so glad you shared this! your invitations were way too gorgeous not to show to the world ~ . All that hard work was so worth it because seriously, they were the most beautiful invitations i’d ever seen. Yknow i still have your invitation and bridal shower favor on display!

~ Ok we just got off the phone so i can get off your page now. haha

  • i emailed my fiance to look at your beautiful invitations- and he was like, wow, they’re really nice and look, they’re a korean-chinese couple just like us!  we do have a lot in common, skippee.

  • so beautiful! I had to tag your site :)

  • wow, those are beautiful! i love the colors and the boxes. thanks for sharing!

  • oh wow.. by far the NICEST invites i’ve seen!!!! =)

  • these are wonderful.  shrink wrap rules.   i can’t believe you did that for so many.

  • gorgeousssssss! :) great job! you are so talented!

  • WHERE WAS MY INVITATION!!!!!

  • hi again!! thanks for all the info!!! i love it!! hehe

just one more question… what do you write to the white house and arnie?  do u send them your invitation or just write them a letter saying, we’re getting married?  hehe i don’t know why i’m so obsessed with doing this now. lol i dont even like bush.  but it’ll still be really cool ^___^

  • pretty invites :)

ryc: you’re going to have a good time at scott’s workshop. don’t worry if you can’t catch everything at once, cuz he crams in A LOT of info in that 3 hours!

  • these are the most beautiful invitations i’ve seen!!!

  • oh wow … i thought mine were hot … soooooo beautiful and creative!!

  • oh my goodness! i can’t believe how gorgeous everything was! now that i’m buried nose deep in putting things together at the last minute, i can truly appreciate how much thought & effort you guys put into everything! if the invitations were this beautiful, imagine how fabulous the wedding was! i’m only a week away and i haven’t had a moment to breathe… *big sigh*. i’ll try to sneak in an entry before the wedding… if not, when i get back, we’re definitely ON for the doggie playdate! =)

  • those are great looking invites and a great looking dog! =)
ryc: one of my friends gave me this site to download a bunch of old kpop albums: http://kpop.bww2.com/home.php. it’s faster than bittorrent but can get tedious b/c you’re limited to a certain amount of downloads at one time. i hope you enjoy the music!

  • yay~  i’m so happy our rsvp response made it on your xanga!  i loved the ribbons and box idea =)

  • i know i told you before, but i just love all your cards and stuff! i love the one with you and andy and bella! also love the colors! ryc, yea, pipe is our fave, too. the other 2, they are just not tame enough and too wild. but we still love the silly guys, especially pippen cuz he is so sweet and talkative! he doesn’t shut up! it’s funny how hubby keeps the towel over their cage until i get up and it’s funny cuz pip is an early riser, too, so he always goes down to the bottom to see what hubby’s up to. i think that’s hilarious!! too cute!

  • oOoh, who’s your eyelash person?  can i get the address/name?  and how much does she charge?

  • who’s your eyelash extension lady and how much does she cost?! that’s awesome that anastasia complimented you on your eyelashes!

  • love your posts.  i hope you don’t mind my subscribing :)

    p.s. beautiful invitations and photos!

  • You don’t know me but I was browsing and reading the pulse page and seen your post and I think your dog is really cute. :)

  • your invites are sooo cute!

  • ryc- 40% off at the W Hotel Store with code WE282, no tax, free shipping. The plushtop + featherbed is the bed they use at the W Hotels. The pillowtop version is the Westin’s Heavenly Bed. Finally did it and made the purchase- I’m so indecisive!  :)

  • wow, it looks like you really put a lot of time & work into assembling your invites!!! they look soooooo nice and i love how your guests personalized their response cards….sooo cute!!! i know it’s late, but i feel like i should say congrats on your wedding!! ^^

  • everything looks amazing, congrats!

  • absolutely beautiful jenny! and i love the weddingbee post =)

  • Thanks for the info re: vests and ties.

I actually took the bar in February and am extremely anxious waiting for the results (graduated in December).  There is no way I would have been able to do anything fun or any outside projects while I was studying! I am just really hoping that I won’t have to take it again because those 8 weeks were awful.

  • Oopsie, I posted this comment under the wrong post! Hi there!  I found your page through the weddingbee’s site and was wondering, you organized all your wedding stuff in binders (so very organized!)  I’m a bridesmaid this year and I wanted to help my friend organize her stuff, and was wondering what exactly you put into each.  Was it just everything and anything you found or was it more in detail?  Thanks!

  • Please please let me know how where you got your boxes. I wanted to do the same thing but haven’t been able to find boxes. Also, the shrink wrap idea was GENIUS. I figured I would just mail them out but this is so much better.

  • i love them :) wahhh
