Welcome Back?
Hi everyone! I can’t believe I haven’t blogged for the past six months. There are so many things I miss about blogging…the community, the preservation of memories, sharing ideas and being creative through words and photos. Whenever I thought of opening a blank document to write a post I became too overwhelmed with how behind I was. I told myself not to worry about that and just start~ so here I am!
Here’s a quick trip down memory lane since the last time I posted…
MAY
* We went to Vegas on a little family trip.
* I got to celebrate my birthday with my family and friends from college, law school and mommyhood. I felt SO loved and still smile thinking about those celebrations.
* I went to the ER because my head was hurting so much. Luckily it wasn’t serious!
JUNE
* Went to Vegas for one day to visit the Moon family. What an adventure!
JULY
* We went to Kansas City to surprise my brother-in-law for his birthday! Here’s a LINK to a video of our trip.
AUGUST
* Evan & I got in a major car accident. A lady made an illegal left turn and our cars crashed. Another ER trip, a broken wrist/back injuries, a wrecked car…but thankfully we were okay!
* Andy sent me on a day trip to Vegas to relax since I had been under a lot of stress.
* I threw my best friend a bridal shower. Then we went to San Francisco for her bachelorette party.
* Andy & I went to Vegas for our 4 year anniversary.
* We went to Orlando on a family trip with the Moon and Shin families.
SEPTEMBER
* I went to Chicago to see the Oprah show!
* Andy & I went to Korea and Japan for our anniversary trip.
OCTOBER
* My best friend got married and I was the matron of honor and Evan was the ring bearer!
Now that I’ve caught you up on what I’ve been up to…your turn! I hope you’ve all been doing great!

Wow you are all over the place! i’m just like you i’m overwhelmed because I have so many pictures that I want to share, but I keep lagging it. I was in 3 car accidents myself eek so I’m happy your doing well and you look like you have been traveling and having a good time (: I will keep you updated soon

Jenny, i am so like you……..too much to say but not enough time or train of thought to get it down………….btw, i love your pics…………..girl, you and the other gals are seriously becoming pros……………….btw, evan has grown……i cannot recognize who he is…..lol……..girl, it just seems like yesterday you were pregnant, then have him…and now????????????….he’s growing into a true hottie…………whoa, time is going way too fast…………awwww, thanks to FB…..we get a some idea whats been up with each other lives……….girl, as our babies grow, it gets harder to write down anything…………..like i said, so much to say but with my old ass, my brain cells seem to be affected……..lol……..awwww, great pics……………you guys are one good looking family…….btw, when you planning for the second?……
btw, if we get korea…………….YOU GONNA VISIT ME RIGHT?…LOL…..YOU’LL ALWAYS HAVE A PLACE TO STAY…..

No immediate plans for a 2nd yet~ I have my hands way full from just Evan, hehe. I hope hope hope you get Korea!!! I will definitely visit you! =)

I think I tell you all the time but I love your photos! What great update. =) You look gorgeous in that wedding too! I know it was eons ago, but I’m still so glad we got to meet up with you guys. It was awesome just hanging out and chatting that first night. Love that you all had fun! Your trip to Korea looked amazing too btw~

Sorry about your accident! Scary! I’d be so mad, too. Good thing you already know a lot of lawyers (I don’t know what kind of law you practice yourself). Glad you guys are alright!

Wow…so much has happened. Hope you guys have recovered from everything. Did you take Evan with you to Asia? We’re thinking of going to Korean and Japan next year with both kids, I’m a little nervous about that.
I just watched your Kansas City video, it almost made me cry because I miss that place so much.
I miss your posts! looks like you’ve been busy. you go to vegas so frequently. i can’t wait until this pregnancy is over so that we can start to travel again. how was disney for a toddler? that will most likely be our first trip.
@jin_hui_kim - Awww~ hope things are great with you guys after the big move! I bet you miss Kansas City so much though. We didn’t take Evan with us to Asia~ we wanted to take a trip for just the two of us. =) That would be awesome if you took the kiddos to Korea & Japan!!! Please keep me updated on your adventures~~!
@MissBride - I missed your posts too!! Whenever I thought about you randomly I would try to remember to come back to Xanga to check but then would forget. I’m so much more forgetful now after becoming a mama! Even though I wasn’t blogging/keeping up with blogs~ I still thought of your little family! =) Orlando was really fun BUT I would highly suggest planning according to the weather/season. We went in early September and it was unbearably hot. The most fun we had was actually in the hotel and at the pool. I think when the kiddos are around W & E’s age they can have fun anywhere. We didn’t stay that long at both parks (Magic Kingdom & Sea World) because of the heat.
@raspberryjade - Thanks! I just realized I’ve been to Vegas so many times this year and they weren’t really planned. I guess Vegas is the easiest place to get away to from LA.

I know car accidents (even the smallest ones) can be suuuuch a headache >:/ . I hope to see you back here more often!
Oh my goodness. I didn’t realize that you and Evan were in a car accident. That’s terrible!! I’m so glad that everyone was okay! Life is so unpredictable.. It’s too much to think about sometimes.
Besides that, it looks like you’ve been enjoying life to the fullest. No surprise, there!
And you look like you haven’t aged one bit or put on one more lb in the past 4 years. Motherhood really becomes you!!

@tubecozy - LOL~ you crack me up buddy! I’m not really a vampire~~! I shoot with my p&s (Panasonic Lumix LX3) or my DSLR (Canon 5D) most of the time depending on the situation. The p&s is actually really good for land/cityscapes. 99% of the time I don’t have a tripod. I just use whatever is around…a table, back of a chair to steady the camera (even the p&s). I totally thought of you while I was spray painting those frames, hehe. I couldn’t find any good big ones so I had to settle for those little $1 Salvation Army ones.
@spiritedsherry - Thanks buddy! Your compliments always mean a lot to me…maybe because I think you’re cool, hehe. You’re right…life is so unpredictable. Oprah recently said that in the time it takes to do something like brush your teeth your whole life could change. You know when I just looked at the 4 year card thing I made it also made me realize that we’ve “known” each other since before both of our weddings. Wow!

It makes me kinda sad to see E grow up sooo fast (costume comparisons). aww.
Also, I’m thinking about going tovegas for a vacation (my last vacation was in June 2009!) Do you take Evan with you? if so what do you with him?
@MissJeter2002 - Thanks buddy~ you’re so sweet! Traveling with a toddler is a lot of work but I think it’s totally worth it once you get there and you’re all settled in. I’m always surprised to find how flexible Evan is with schedules and traveling. Thank goodness or else we’d never be able to go anywhere!
@wedders111 - Hi buddy!!! I was so happy to hear from you! I’m looking forward to seeing a big update from you. You should post some of R’s Halloween photos if you dressed her up! You guys should definitely go to Vegas!! I think we went like 4 times already this year~ lol! It’s just the easiest place to go for a “vacation” when you have a kid. Two of the times we took Evan and it was really fun! It’s just nice having a change of scenery too. One of the times we went we just stayed indoors at a friend’s place because it was too hot outside. The other time we went we didn’t do much but it was so much fun! There are actually a ton of kid-friendly places to go in Vegas but we didn’t have time for them (like aquariums and museums). The only thing I don’t like about Vegas is the smoke in the casinos.

omg, i’ve missed hearing about your lives, so thanks for the quick recap. love the pictures and love seeing how big evan is. quite a handsome boy, huh? glad you two were ok after your accident. you do have a beautiful family and glad to hear that you’ve been a busy mommy. i do miss hearing a bout you guys, so try to blog more often. i blog so i can remember things..like isla loves stroking my hair and falling asleep. come back often, ok?
