Baby 2!
Hi everyone! We are expecting baby #2 this summer! I’m already 15 weeks but I’ve been so sick I haven’t even been able to properly announce the great news. I’m due in early September but my doctor said 2nd babies often arrive early so I’ll probably have an August baby!
The past few months have been so hard because I’ve had really bad morning sickness plus a continuous string of flus/stomach viruses/colds. Hope this now explains my absences from the online and real world!
Silly Duo
Evan & Bella are still the same silly duo. I don’t think they really know how much things will be changing around here this summer. At first whenever I lifted my shirt to rub my belly and say “baby” Evan would do the same to himself…lol! The other day though he came up to me and rubbed my belly and said “hi baby”…yay!
Here they are playing around. Evan was eating a snack and Bella wanted some. He pretended to give her one but it was really a wood block!
Cabin Fever
Since Evan & I have both been sick on and off we’ve had to spend a lot of time indoors. Luckily this little pool kept the baby and furbaby occupied!

OMG!!!!!! yayyyy!!!!!!!! CONGRATS on baby # 2 !!!! im so excited for you…. really happy… hehe =) Evan bear will be such a good older brother to his younger sibling ~ can’t wait to meet baby #2 in the summer and read more updates….Evan seems to be having so much fun playing with Bella in the little blue pool ~ lol….

congratulations!!! I think one of the hardest things is to be pregnant and have to take care of a young child. it must’ve been really tough with being sick on top of pregnancy though. :T Hoping for smooth sailing from here on out! You all must be so excited!!

Congratulations on your second baby on the way! You and I are at about the same stage of our pregnancies. This is my first, and I’m about 14 and a half weeks! I love your pictures!!!! I don’t know how you are able to take care of your current child, while pregnant. I’m having a rough time just getting through a normal day and I don’t have other children yet! lol! Kudos to you, mama!

@sooae - Thanks chingoo! I love the baby pool~ we haven’t even used it as a real pool~ just for indoor fun. I know it’ll be handy in the summer though because of the sun shade. I got it from Amazon but they don’t sell it anymore. Here’s another one (LINK) that’s from the same company.
@MissJeter2002 - Thanks sweetie! Don’t know gender yet…they make you wait sooo long. I have another month or longer to know for sure.
@justbee - Thanks buddy! YES~ Evan totally still plays in the playzone. We made his play area really big and just use it at the outer edges to block off the hallway, kitchen and stairs. It’s a lifesaver when I need to run to the bathroom or go do stuff in the kitchen. Without it he’d be following me everywhere and getting into everything. My friend’s kid was able to climb over it and I read a review were a kid figured out how to open the door. Luckily we haven’t run into that yet and Evan is 2!
@so_droll80 - Thanks sweetie! I thought about you and about how much harder it must’ve been for you with the kiddos so close in age. At least your hard work will pay off more and more as they get older. I kind of wish #1 and #2 were closer in age now! =)

I’m so glad you’re finally feeling a little bit better. You do know that you will have to get a bigger blog to accomodate that additional overload of cuteness that’s arriving in September right? Because your existing blog just barely contains the cute you fill it with now!!!

@skippeeahn - sorry late reply on this one too! aww i’m so sorry to hear about your morning sickness. i had it pretty bad too. i actually found out i was prego cuz i went into my dr’s office thinking i might have the stomach flu. i was violently throwing up 8-9 times a day! i lost 26 lbs in my first trimester. i hope yours goes away soon. mine went away @ around 11 weeks and has not come back. and i’m HOPING AND PRAYING it stays that way! take care of yourself and get lots of rest!!! AH! so happy for you!!! make sure you let us know what you’re having once you find out!!!!!!
