April Updates!
Hi hi! Hope you’ve all been doing great! After a few weeks of bed rest and limited activity I’m finally starting to venture out. Here’s a recap of our April~ can’t believe it’s already May!
Evan + Bella
These two make me laugh all the time! Evan is almost fully potty trained now so diapers have become a toy, lol. He buried Bella in diapers while she was sleeping. When she woke up he apologized (Sorry Bella!) for laughing at her.
Easter 2011
Learning Sympathy
Evan made some new buddies while playing basketball. Seth got in trouble from his dad for not sharing the ball so he ran off to cry. Evan followed him and tried to make him feel better. These moments are what totally melt my heart~ to know that my little guy is growing up to be such a good person and learning how to sympathize.

Can you tell which ring is homemade and which one is over $3000? Even if a cocktail ring were $100 I wouldn’t want to pay that much for just a fun little toy. So~ I made a ring out of one of the embellishments in my stash!

hi hi hi!! i miss you already, so glad to see this update from you! evan is the sweetest lil boy ever. i’m sure he gets that from his mom (& dad too).
yay holiday photos of your babies! love it. i love your cocktail ring creation far more than the expensive ones. the $3000 one looks like a $20 costume jewelry! you are so crafty and talented! i am loving all the stripes you and evan are wearing.

Jenny, my love, start branding the ring and start selling! I’m so touched that Evan was so sympathetic — at such an early age! He gets it from his mommy. I’m already craving Chinese food, see you soon!!

I’m not surprised one bit how sweet Evan is, look who is Mama is! Your crafty skills kill me. I’m so jealous! You still look amazing too btw. Def have that glow. =)

Evan’s outfit in the first two photos is so stylish and cute! I may not be able to bear it when you dress Evan AND baby girl; it may be too much cute. We’ll see.
I’m not surprised at all by Evan’s gentle empathetic personality. Gee; I wonder where he’s seen that demonstrated in his life? Hmmmmm.

Aww love this post! Like your little belly too yay! Glad you’re feeling better mama and don’t worry, I was totally out for the count during random times throughout my pregnancy. I just always post the active times. lol. Btw, I’m going to send you my new blog. I’ve had it for almost a year now.

@sooae - Thanks sweetie! I’m embarrassed~ I can’t take any credit for the ring! It was so easy to make and isn’t even as nice in person, hehe. Thank you though~ what a compliment coming from a fashionista like you! =)
@nomorepink - I’m totally embarrassed~ for anyone to think it took any talent or craftiness to make that ring! It was super easy~ I just took a crystal embellishment (took off a hook on the back with pliers) then glue gunned it to a ring. That’s all!

@wedders111 - I know~ I would never pay $3000 for costume jewelry~ not even like $50! Sadly, I got absolutely nothing done while on bed rest. I just watched TV and passively surfed the web on my phone. It was so uncomfortable that I just tried to sleep most of the time. Hope you’re doing great!

@MissBride - Thanks buddy! The only way for me to get good photos is to try to always have a camera with me and remember to take photos, hehe. Awwww~ so you guys decided against San Diego! It’ll be easier for you to be closer to family and friends though.

You are so tiny at 22 weeks, especially with this being your second! I was HUGE. Your little guy makes me want a son so bad, hehehe~
oh my goodness, the “bunny” pics are so adorable! you have greatest photo ideas! and you seriously know how to capture expressions (especially evan’s) at just the perfect time. i love looking at your photos so much because you can really feel just how happy and joyful each moment is.
p.s. i think your ring looks the best out of the four, and you GLOWING mama-to-be (of two)!

what lens are you using? i’m in the market for a new lens with a super low aperture. your pics be looking awesome!!!
@justbee - Thanks buddy! My favorite lens right now is the 35mm f/1.4 (LINK). I use it all the time and it’s reminiscent of the olden days with the fixed 35mm film cameras. It has a really good “real life” perspective where it isn’t too zoomed so you can’t catch the surrounding details. It’s still pretty good with the closeups too. =)

I heart the moments of Evan messing with Bella and cracking up, I heart the Easter photos and the one of Andy walking along the beach with Evan, and I heart the photos of hottie mama jenny with her adorable son. You look gorgeous and so stylish! All I can say is that you are SO talented. Photographer, cake topper maker and now jewellery maker? wow! You could totally sell yours at the department stores and charge $300 for it.
